On Thursday & Friday, July 17/18, 2025, Straitgate Nursery & Primary School, Magodo, and Forthright, Magboro held their much-anticipated graduation ceremonies, marking an important milestone in the lives of our pupils. It was a day filled with joy, thanksgiving, and hope for the future as the children transitioned confidently to the next stage of their academic journey.

The event was graced by proud parents, teachers, family, and friends who gathered to celebrate the achievements of the graduating classes. Pupils from the nursery section were promoted into primary school, while the Primary Six graduates bid farewell to their alma mater as they prepared to take on new challenges in secondary school.

The program was rich with performances that highlighted the creativity, talent, and confidence of the pupils. There were colorful cultural dances, drama sketches, songs, and poetry presentations, all of which thrilled the audience and showcased the well-rounded development of the children.

One of the most memorable moments was the graduation procession, where the pupils proudly received their certificates, cheered on by their families and teachers. Awards were also presented to outstanding pupils in academics, leadership, and character, celebrating excellence across the schools.

In their addresses, the school leadership emphasized the mission of Straitgate Schools: “Building a generation for God.” Parents were reminded that while academic excellence is important, the values of discipline, integrity, and faith instilled in the pupils will remain the true compass for their journey ahead.

The ceremonies ended on a high note with gratitude to God, heartfelt words from parents, and smiles on the faces of pupils ready to embrace a bright future.
