Straitgate Primary School Magodo
Straitgate Schools continue to take bold strides in transforming education through intentional and impactful technology integration across all campuses—Nursery, Primary, and Secondary.
From Magodo to Magboro, classrooms are evolving into dynamic, tech-enabled learning spaces where pupils and students are actively engaged in digital literacy, creative problem-solving, and innovation.
All classes are now equipped with interactive media boards that enhance teaching delivery and student participation. The Learning Management System (LMS) is fully operational across the schools, allowing learners to submit assignments, take assessments, and access personalized learning materials at their convenience.
Younger learners are introduced to the basics of digital tools and coding using fun, age-appropriate software, while secondary students benefit from advanced sessions in AI, robotics, and online research tools. Teachers have been trained on the effective use of educational platforms, classroom tech tools, and digital content creation to enrich their teaching methods.
“We are preparing our learners not just for exams, but for the future of work and global citizenship,” said Dr. Caroline Alao, Head of Straitgate High School. “Technology is no longer an add-on—it’s an essential part of how we build confidence, creativity, and critical thinking.”
This tech-forward approach was recently demonstrated during the successful rollout of the school’s first CBT-based assessment and the establishment of fully functional smart classrooms in the high school. Pupils and students alike are responding with enthusiasm, showcasing a growing sense of digital responsibility and fluency.
As a result, Straitgate Schools stand at the forefront of innovation in Nigerian education, reaffirming their commitment to building future leaders through functional, moral, and forward-thinking education in a godly environment.
